A charity three-day exhibition, “The World through the Eyes of a Special Child”, was held, where the the works of the wards of the Ashan Cultural and Charity Fund and the Sukhum Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities were presented. Visitors to the exhibition had the opportunity to look at the world through the eyes of special children, to understand life, joy, pain, and help finding a home for their works. Contribution for Anela Lakashia’s healthy future is everyone’s gratitude. The acquired works brought 82,292 rubles to the Ashan Cultural and Charity Fund. All funds will be directed to the treatment of Anela. Ashan Cultural and Charity Fund prepared a surprise together with the Sputnik Abkhazia Information Agency for young artists and exhibitors – commemorative letters. They were also given materials for drawing from the heads of stationery stores Dgebi Beslan and Manana Kvitsiniya. The children were happy and could not hide their emotions. Some of them read poems, others shared their emotions through the microphone. Guests of the exhibition shared their warm wishes, expressed gratitude and spoke about the importance of everyone’s participation in the recovery of the girl. Thanks to everyone who does not remain indifferent! Together we can do more!
Baby Amelia is in trouble! Dear friends, an urgent fundraising for the treatment of Amelia Hagush is open The price of life for her is 300,000 rubles. Two-year-old Amelia Hagush has cerebral hydrocephalus, arteriovenous malformation (AVM). From birth, the baby is fighting for her life. She is 2 years old, she has already undergone 4 operations, two of which are associated with hydrocephalus – bypass of the ventricles of the brain. In order to live, the baby Amelia has to face another test – stereotactic radiosurgery of AVM of Vein of Galen. The goal of radiosurgery is to achieve complete obliteration (prohibition / closure) of the AVM and to prevent hemorrhage in the brain, the risk of which, with a diagnosis of Amelia, is very high! The cost of such radiation treatment at the Moscow Institute of Neurosurgery named after Acad. N.N. Burdenko is 300 000 rub. For the family of Amelia, the amount is unbearable, but for the 250,000th population of Abkhazia, the amount is less than one ruble for each, let alone the whole world. Save the life of Amelia Together Children are born to live
